جب کہ اس موقع پر ایم ڈی کے ای ایس سی قتل کیس کے عینی شاہد شہناز شاہد
اورعمرشاہد بھی عدالت میں موجود تھے۔ ملزم کو دیگر افراد کے ہمراہ کھڑا کر
کے عینی شاہدین کے سامنے پیش کیا گیا جس پرعینی شاہدین نے منہاج قاضی کو
شناخت کرلیا۔
واضح رہے کہ سابق ایم ڈی کے ای ایس سی شاہد حامد کو 5 جولائی 1997 کو
قتل کیا گیا تھا جب کہ شاہد حامد کے قتل میں ایک ملزم صولت مرزا کو پہلے ہی
پھانسی دی جا چکی ہے۔

ترجمان امریکی محکمہ خارجہ جان کربی کا کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان
اورافغانستان کو دہشت گرد نیٹ ورک کے خطرے کا سامناہے، دہشت گرد آج بھی
دونوں ممالک کو محفوظ پناہ گاہوں کے طور پر استعمال کر رہے ہیں، دہشت گرد
گروپوں کی وجہ سے ہی افغانستان میں امریکی فوج آج بھی موجود ہے۔
جان کربی کا کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان اورافغانستان دہشت گردی سے نمٹنے کے
لیے رابطہ میں ہیں اور امریکا دونوں ممالک کے درمیان مذاکراتی عمل کو آگے
بڑھتا دیکھنا چاہتا ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ امریکا پاکستان کےساتھ تعلقات میں
کشیدگی نہیں چاہتا اور ہم طورخم بارڈر کو امدو رفت کے لیے کھلا دیکھنا
چاہتے ہیں۔
واضح رہے کہ پاک افغان سرحد پر باڑ لگانے کے معاملے پر طورخم سرحد گزشتہ
5 روز سے آمدورفت کے لئے بند ہے جس کی وجہ سے سیکڑوں ٹرک سرحد کے دونوں
اطراف پھنس کر رہ گئے ہیں۔ گزشتہ روز افغان سفیر نے بھی اس معاملے پر آرمی
چیف جنرل راحیل شریف سے ملاقات کی جس میں طور خم سرحد پر معمول کا ٹریفک
بحال رکھنے پر اتفاق کیا گیا۔
Hezbollah's
top military commander in Syria, Mustafa Amine Badreddine, was killed
in artillery fire by jihadists, the Lebanese group says.
Badreddine's death near Damascus airport was announced on Friday and initially blamed on Israel, Hezbollah's chief enemy.
Badreddine was believed to have run all Hezbollah's military operations in Syria since 2011.
Thousands of Hezbollah troops are supporting President Bashar al-Assad.
This has pitted it against several groups of anti-Assad rebels - from so-called Islamic State (IS) to the al-Nusra Front.
Without
naming any group, the Hezbollah statement said: "Investigations have
showed that the explosion, which targeted one of our bases near Damascus
International Airport, and which led to the martyrdom of commander
Mustafa Badreddine, was the result of artillery bombardment carried out
by takfiri groups in the area."

The
Lebanese Shia Islamist movement has played a major role in helping
Iran, its main military and financial backer, to prop up the government
of President Assad since the uprising erupted in 2011.
Thousands
of Hezbollah fighters are assisting government forces on battlefields
across Syria, particularly those near the Lebanese border, and hundreds
are believed to have been killed.
The Hezbollah statement said
Badreddine's death "will increase our determination... to continue the
fight against these criminal gangs and defeat them".
Hariri link
Born
in 1961, Badreddine is believed to have been a senior figure in
Hezbollah's military wing. He was a cousin and brother-in-law of Imad
Mughniyeh, who was the military wing's chief until his assassination by
car bomb in Damascus in 2008. According to one report,
a Hezbollah member interrogated by the Canadian Security Intelligence
Service (CSIS), described Badreddine as "more dangerous" than Mughniyeh,
who was "his teacher in terrorism".
They are alleged to have
worked together on the October 1983 bombing of the US Marine Corps

In a rare appearance in public, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah attended Badreddine's funeral
Badreddine is reported to have sat on Hezbollah's
Shura Council and served as an adviser to the group's overall leader
Hassan Nasrallah.
The group was established in the wake of the
Israeli occupation of Lebanon in the early 1980s, and has called for the
"obliteration" of Israel.
Badreddine was also charged with masterminding the assassination of former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri in Beirut in 2005.
An
indictment from the ongoing Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague
details Badreddine's role in bombings in Kuwait in 1983, that targeted
the French and US embassies and other facilities, and killed six people.
He was sentenced to death over the attacks, but later escaped from prison.

ایکسپریس نیوز سے بات کرتے ہوئے صدیق الفاروق کا کہنا تھا کہ آج ہم نے
ننکانہ صاحب میں محکمہ اوقاف کی 45 کنال زمین واگزار کرانے کے لئے پولیس کے
ساتھ آپریشن کیا تو وہاں کے مقامی ایم پی اے ذوالقرنین ڈوگر نے چوہدری
ریاض کے ساتھ مل کر انھیں قتل کا منصوبہ بنایا اور بلوائیوں کے ذریعے میری
گاڑی پر حملہ کروایا، اگر آج اللہ میرے ساتھ نہ ہوتا تو شاید یہ لوگ مجھے
قتل کر دیتے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ذوالقرنین ڈوگر کے بیٹے نے بھی سرکاری
زمینوں پر قبضہ کر رکھا تھا جسے ہم نے واگزار کرایا تھا جب کہ آج بھی
ذوالقرنین ڈوگر اپنے حلقے میں باقاعدہ اعلان کر کے بلوائیوں کو میرے پیچھے
بھیجا۔
صدیق الفاروق کا کہنا تھا کہ علاقے کے ڈی پی او ڈاکٹر عثمان بھی بہت
کمزور بلکہ بعض معاملات میں قبضہ مافیا کے ساتھ ملے ہوئے ہیں، آئی جی پنجاب
اور سیکرٹری پنجاب کے نوٹس میں بھی یہ بات لا چکا ہوں اور بارہا انھیں
تبدیل کرنے کا بھی کہہ چکا ہوں لیکن ہر بار ان کی کوئی بڑی سفارش آ جاتی
ہے، امید ہے کہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب شہباز شریف اس واقعہ کا نوٹس لیں گے کیونکہ
وہ خود بھی قانون پر سختی سے عمل درآمد کرتے ہیں اور کسی کو بھی قانون کی
خلاف ورزی نہیں کرنے دیتے۔
قبل ازیں چیرمین متروکہ املاک بورڈ صدیق الفاروق کی سربراہی میں محکمہ
اوقاف کی ٹیم نے تجاوزات کے خلاف آپریشن کر کے درجنوں غیر قانونی مکانات کو
مسمار کیا جس کے خلاف بڑی تعداد میں لوگ سڑکوں پر نکل آئے اور مظاہرین نے
محکمہ اوقاف کے دفتر کو آگ لگادی جب کہ صدیق الفاروق کی گاڑی پر پتھراؤ بھی
کیا۔ اس کے علاوہ مظاہرین نے ریلوے روڈ پر واقع دکانیں زبردستی بند کرادیں
اور مرکزی شاہراہ بھی بلاک کردی۔

تحریک انصاف کے رہنما محمد مدنی کی جانب سے الیکشن کمیشن میں جمع کرائی
گئی درخواست میں موقف اختیار کیا گیا ہے کہ شریف خاندان کی اہم شخصیات نے
اپنے کاغذات نامزدگی میں اثاثوں کی جو تفصیلات فراہم کیں وہ حقائق پر مبنی
نہیں ہیں لہذا الیکشن کمیشن وزیر اعظم نواز شریف کے قومی اسمبلی کے حلقہ
120 اور وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب شہباز شریف کے صوبائی اسمبلی کے حلقہ 159 کے لئے
جمع کرائے گئے کاغذات نامزدگی کی نقول فراہم کرے۔
درخواست میں حمزہ شہباز کی جانب سے حلقہ 119، وزیر اعظم کے داماد کیپٹن
(ر) صفدر عباسی کے حلقہ این اے 21 اور وزیر خزانہ اسحٰق ڈار کی جانب سے
سینیٹ ٹیکنوکریٹ کے لئے جمع کرائے گئے اثاثوں کی تفصیلات کی نقول بھی مانگی
گئی ہیں۔
پی ٹی آئی رہنما محمد مدنی کا کہنا ہے کہ ہم ثابت کریں گے کہ شریف
خاندان کی اہم شخصیات نے اپنے اثاثوں کی اصل تفصیلات فراہم نہیں کیں اور
پھر مرکزی اور صوبائی حکومت کے خلاف آئین کے آرٹیکل 62 اور 63 کے تحت
کارروائی کا مطالبہ بھی کیا جائے گا۔

شانگلہ: شاہراہ قراقرم پر چکائی کے مقام پر کار کھائی میں گرنے سے 6 افراد جاں بحق ہو گئے۔
ایکسپریس نیوزکے مطابق شانگلہ کے قریب شاہراہ قراقرم پر چکائی کے مقام
پر کار تیز رفتاری کے باعث موڑ کاٹتے ہوئے گہری کھائی میں جاگری جس کے
نتیجے میں 4 افراد موقع پر ہی جاں بحق جب کہ 2 زخمی ہوگئے۔ امدادی ٹیموں نے
جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ کرلاشوں اور زخمیوں کو اسپتال منتقل کیا جہاں زخمی
دونوں افراد بھی دوران علاج دم توڑ گئے۔
پولیس حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ حادثے کا شکار کار بشام سے کوہستان جارہی تھی جب کہ لاشوں کو کارروائی کے بعد ورثا کے حوالے کردیا جائے گا۔
Plans
to run the newly-rebuilt Flying Scotsman steam locomotive on the
Borders rail line have been stopped at the last minute by Network Rail.
Steam
Dreams, which will operate the excursion, said the late notice
cancellation - at 16:40 on Friday - was "an absolute disgrace".
The Flying Scotsman will operate between York and Edinburgh, before a diesel engine is expected to take over.
Steam Dreams said the trip has taken two years of planning.
It said Network Rail's explanation was that it did not
have the right data to "gauge" the Flying Scotsman - a process which
involves checking if the locomotive fits within structures such as
platforms and bridges on the line.
A planned journey across the Forth Bridge has also been cancelled.
Steam
Dreams chairman Marcus Robertson said: "For the passengers but also for
all the people who've put in months and years of planning work to get
the engine in the state it's in... they haven't put a foot wrong."
He
added: "All that work, all that effort, all the dreams of the
passengers, has been wasted by a bit of bureaucratic inefficiency or, as
it's being described apparently by somebody at Network Rail, an
'administrative error'.
"Well that's a pretty mealy-mouthed way of putting it."
A
letter from the company to intending passengers said: "During the next
24 hours we will be doing our utmost to get this situation sorted out,
but if we can't then we very much regret that we will have to run this
trip with vintage diesel locomotive.
"If this is the case than we will do our utmost to make it a highly memorable day on a vintage train."
Network Rail said it had not been able to carry out assessment work on the route in time.
A
spokesman said: "The routes the Scotsman had planned to cover this
weekend are new ones for the locomotive and have to be individually
assessed by our engineers in advance.
"Unfortunately we have been
unable to carry out the work in time and cannot allow the engine to run
when we are unsure if the unique design of the Flying Scotsman is
compatible with the current railway infrastructure across the Fife and
Borders routes.
"We understand the disappointment this will cause
all those who had been looking forward to the iconic engine returning to
these parts of Scotland and a full investigation will be undertaken
into why these issues were not identified sooner."
'Unbelievable' failure
A number of events had been planned along the route to mark the Flying Scotsman' return to Scotland.
A decision is now expected on Saturday about which of them will go ahead.
Scottish
Borders Council leader David Parker said: "It is extremely
disappointing that the Flying Scotsman's visit to the Scottish Borders
cannot go ahead as planned on Sunday.
"A huge amount of work has
gone into the planning of this event, and we know this news will leave
thousands of people very unhappy and let down.
"Network Rail's
failure to complete the necessary work is quite frankly unbelievable and
unacceptable. Only discovering the position this evening makes the news
even more shocking."
