لئے حکومت کو اپوزیشن کے ٹی او آرز من و عن تسلیم کر لینے چاہئیں۔
اسلام آباد میں میڈیا سے بات کرتے ہوئے خورشید شاہ کا کہنا تھا کہ

ٹی او آرز پر حکومت اور اپوزیشن کے مذاکرات ناکام ہوئے تو آئندہ لائحہ عمل
کا فیصلہ پارٹی قیادت کرے گی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پاناما لیکس کی تحقیقات کے
لئے وزیراعظم نواز شریف نے خود اپنے خاندان کو احتساب کے لئے پیش کیا لہذا
حکومت کو اپوزیشن کے ٹی او آرز تسلیم کرنے چاہئیں۔

کے معاملے پر اپوزیشن کو ساتھ لے کر چلنے کا کہا ہے، پیپلز پارٹی سڑکوں کی
سیاست سے گریز کرتی ہے تاہم اگر حکومت سے ٹی او آرز پر مذاکرات ناکام ہوئے
تو آئندہ لائحہ عمل کا فیصلہ پارٹی قیادت کرے گی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ بے
نظیر کو نیب کورٹ کے ذریعے سے سزا دلوائی گئی، سوئس عدالتوں میں بھی معاملہ
اٹھایا گیا لیکن حکومت نے 3 سال میں کتنے ادارے اور اسپتال بنائے اور ملک
سے کتنی لوڈ شیڈنگ کم کی، دانش اسکولوں میں 10 ہزار بچے بھی نہیں پڑھ سکے
جب کہ سستی روٹی اسکیم کے ذریعے لوگوں کو بے وقوف بنایا گیا اور کرپشن کی
گئی، حکومت ہر بات کو سازش کہہ کر ٹال نہیں سکتی۔
WASHINGTON: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gave an aggressive response to the deadliest mass shooting in US history, quickly claiming the attack was the work of an Islamist militant while calling on President Barack Obama to resign and for Democrat Hillary Clinton to exit the presidential race.
For Trump, it was an attempt to frame the attack in Orlando in a light favourable to his campaign for the Nov 8 presidential election.
Early on Sunday, when few facts were known about the shooting, he boasted on Twitter that it proved he had been right about his warnings over “radical Islamic terrorism”. Trump cancelled a planned Monday evening rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire late on Sunday, because of the shooting, but will go ahead with a major speech at St. Anselm's College on Monday afternoon.
In a tweet just hours after the incident, he wrote: “Appreciate the congrats for being right on radical Islamic terrorism, I don't want congrats, I want toughness and vigilance.”
Trump has made combating the threat of groups such as the militant Islamic State (IS) group a central part of his candidacy.
It was last December's attack in San Bernardino, California that killed 14 people that led Trump to propose a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States. Trump re-visited the proposal on Sunday after at least 50 people died in the attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
“What has happened in Orlando is just the beginning. Our leadership is weak and ineffective. I called it and asked for the ban. Must be tough,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
In a statement late Sunday, the businessman went further than US officials investigating the shootings by asserting that the attack in Orlando was the work of a “radical Islamic terrorist”. The IS, which controls land in Iraq and Syria, claimed responsibility for the shooting but US officials said they had seen no immediate evidence directly linking the militant group to the massacre.
The shooter, US-born Florida resident Omar Mateen, was killed by police. Mateen, 29, called 911 on Sunday morning and made comments saying he supported the IS, officials said.

“I'm a Cuban citizen and I'm becoming an American citizen on July 6 and I'm going to vote for the first time in my life for Donald Trump,” said Arisley Travieso, 36, who works for a shredding company.
Traveiso said he supported Trump because the Republican nominee sees “the problem is Islamic terrorism. He (Trump) has been saying it nonstop”. Trump ripped Obama for his long-standing refusal to refer to IS and other extremist groups as in part representative of the religion of Islam.
“In his remarks today, President Obama disgracefully refused to even say the words 'Radical Islam'. For that reason alone, he should step down,” Trump said, adding that, “if Hillary Clinton, after this attack, still cannot say the two words 'Radical Islam' she should get out of this race for the presidency.”
Trump's day-long barrage of tweets and statements contrasted with more cautious approaches taken by Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, and her fellow Democrat Obama.
In remarks at the White House, Obama said the investigation into the shootings was ongoing and declined to speculate on the motives of the shooter.
“We've reached no definitive judgment on the precise motivations of the killer,” Obama said. “The FBI is appropriately investigating this as an act of terrorism."
Similarly, Clinton, in a statement, called the attack an “act of terror” but did not speculate about the ideology of the gunman.
“Law enforcement and intelligence agencies are hard at work, and we will learn more in the hours and days ahead,” said Clinton, who expressed her sympathy for the victims and said “weapons of war” have no place on US streets.
Trump's campaign said that a speech scheduled for Monday that was to be devoted to criticising Hillary and Bill Clinton would now be centred on national security and counter-terrorism.

ORLANDO: Mina Justice was sound asleep when she received the first text from her son, Eddie Justice, who was in the gay nightclub when a gunman opened fire, leaving 50 dead and more than 50 wounded.
This is the conversation she had over text message with her 30-year-old son: “Mommy I love you,” the first message said. It was 2:06am. “In club they shooting.”
Mina Justice tried calling her 30-year-old son. No answer. Alarmed and half awake, she tapped out a response. “U ok”.
At 2:07am, he wrote: “Trapp in bathroom.” Justice asked what club, and he responded: “Pulse. Downtown. Call police.”
Then at 2:08am: “I’m gonna die.”
Now wide awake, Justice dialed 911. She sent a flurry of texts over the next several minutes. “I’m calling them now. U still in there. Answer our damn phone. Call them. Call me.”
The 911 dispatcher wanted her to stay on the line. She wondered what kind of danger her son was in.
Eddie was normally a homebody who liked to eat and work out. He liked to make everyone laugh.
He worked as an accountant and lived in a condo in downtown Orlando. “Lives in a sky house, like the Jeffersons,” she would say. “He lives rich.”
She knew he was gay and at a club and all the complications that might entail. Fear surged through her as she waited for his next message.
At 2:39am, he responded: “Call them mommy Now.” He wrote that he was in the bathroom. “He's coming I’m gonna die.”
Justice asked her son if anyone was hurt and which bathroom he was in. “Lots. Yes,” he responded at 2:42am.
When he didn’t text back, she sent several more messages. Was he with police? “Text me please,” she wrote. “No,” he wrote four minutes later. “Still here in bathroom. He has us. They need to come get us.”
At 2:49am, she told him the police were there and to let her know when he saw them. “Hurry,” he wrote. “He's in the bathroom with us.”
She asked, “Is the man in the bathroom wit u?” At 2:50am: “He’s a terror.”
Then, a final text from her son a minute later: “Yes.”
More than 15 hours after that text, Justice still hasn’t heard from her son. She and a dozen family and friends are at a hotel that has become a staging area for relatives awaiting news. Any news.
“His name has not come up yet and that’s scary. It’s just ...” she paused and patted her heart. “It's just, I got this feeling. I got a bad feeling.”
Authorities confirmed that her son had died in the early hours of Monday morning.
A day before the nightclub massacre, Luis Vielma, 22, updated his Facebook profile with a picture of himself standing with young people in front of a Disney castle and a caption that read: "True friends who become family."
By Sunday night, his profile was altered to "Remember Luis Vielma” after police confirmed he was among 50 people killed in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

As authorities frantically tried to notify all the relatives, the Orlando Police Department began publishing the names of victims on a city website on Sunday afternoon.
Among them was Vielma, who worked part-time as a rides attendant at the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey theme park ride, while studying physical therapy at Seminole State College, according to his Facebook profile.
Others included Edward Sotomayor Jr., 34, Stanley Almodovar III, 23, Luis Omar Ocasio-Capo, 20, Juan Ramon Guerrero, 22, Eric Ivan Ortiz-Rivera, 36, and Peter O. Gonzalez-Cruz, 22.

Police killed the gunman, who was identified as Omar Mateen, 29, a New York-born Florida resident and US citizen who was the son of immigrants from Afghanistan, and officials were probing evidence suggesting the attack may have been inspired by Islamic State militants.
The sheer number of deaths appeared to overwhelm officials in Orlando, a city of 270,000 people. Orlando Police asked mourners to hold off on vigils as they were understaffed to police them.
"We understand our community is grieving and that vigils are being planned but PLEASE hold off on vigils ─ they represent a serious strain on our limited resources, which we need to dedicate to law enforcement and victims," the city posted on its official Twitter handle.

Neighbors of Stanley Almodovar III, a 23-year-old pharmacy technician, said his parents had recently moved back to Puerto Rico after his mother became ill with cancer. He was the youngest in the family.
The Facebook page for Almodovar III, of Clermont, Florida, was flooded with shocked tributes. "We'll miss you Stanley. You made an impact on everyone that you came around. A good person and friend," wrote Mark Nielsen of Deltona, Florida.
Images posted to Stanley's wall over the years showed him socializing with dozens of friends.
"I will always remember you," Jeannette Molina wrote. "Your beautiful personality and spirit."

Sotomayor Jr., a 34-year-old marketing manager at a Sarasota-based gay travel company, previously posted a photo of himself and former Florida Governor Charlie Christ on his Facebook page.
In an Instagram post published Sunday, RuPaul's Drag Race judge Michelle Visage called Sotomayor "a joy."
"I loved you on so many levels. You were SO SO special and will never be forgotten," she wrote. "I promise you that."

I recently had the pleasure of feeling my ovaries constrict when reading a news item: the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan seems to think it is quite dandy to warn Muslims against family planning or birth control.
“Rejecting motherhood means giving up on humanity,” he said, and that too, on live television.
Erdogan has also been overheard calling a childless woman an “incomplete” one. The execution of his statements is followed by the usual customary speak on how multiplying Muslim descendants is our piece de resistance against the Machiavellian maneuvers of the rest of the world.
This kind of fodder has been used time and again, unfortunately, to disseminate and transplant the cult of man at the expense of women.
Our own Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) has called forcontraception to become contraband, echoing what has usually been a rallying call for men throughout the ages. Being the trend-chaser that it is, the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) compromised on itson-again off-again ban on birth control adverts in the form of spluttering consideration that they be aired afterprime time.
Apparently, the fact that consenting men and women can make informed choices about what they do with their bodies is taboo enough if it urges young children to ask questions, or young minds to make decisions.
What all this boils down to is the regulation of the female body
In a world where having babies has been mandated our sole objective, concerned leaders and authorities are using biology as an excuse for subjugating us and ‘keeping us busy’.
In this world, there is no freeing up of our time and our intelligence to question and to evolve — the same system keeps us from pondering over patriarchy.
The discovery of the birth control pill has interrupted this process. It has given women a ‘cop out’— a chance to delay their exclusive errand here on earth. It is little wonder then, that today’s Islamists and their sympathisers have made birth control a clarion call for female oppression.
The fact that contraception — specifically the contraceptive pill — is available freely, has shifted the scales of an exclusively male-domain. For when men exercised control over our bodies, they also controlled our political, economic and social voices.
They gained from limiting our futures and our sexuality.
Men-made laws oversaw the maintenance of social constructs, and tripped us over when we sought mobility. Men called the shots when it came to sexual desire, and they defined us by the number and sex of the children we gave them. That was their golden age, and some factions still wish to retreat back into that belly of narrow-mindedness and domination.
But with the de-regulation of the female body, a woman can now choose to limit the number of children she has, can choose to say ‘no’ until she is ready. She can free up her schedule, set an embargo on established structures, and advance the progress of her own agency.
When she does that, she partakes in the enterprises of man, develops and promotes the female franchise and has little time to spread the seed of male dominance.
Oh boy, that’s got to hurt.
Consider the consequences of choosing to put off child rearing: women are disrupting the status quo in a world where men have done as they please since time immemorial.
It is no wonder then that men will scream themselves hoarse about how this or that religious edict is being made to collapse so that women can cavort and be hellish, but what they really fear is that women will have some spare time, some loose change and some ungoverned flexibility.
Their world will have to accommodate another voice, another perspective and a wider social view. Our holy men and their brethren are terrified by this change; they are outraged and offended.
Their masculinity, which has till recently been their monopoly over the world, is losing steam and their male privilege is beginning to look a lot like a deflated ego.
Contraception has toppled their social order and of course they’re going to squeal.
As women, we need not pay heed to the shallow interpretations of men. We need not abdicate our foremost responsibility to them and their fraternity, which is the basic right to move up and out, to breathe, stride forth and evolve.
We no longer need to birth and be banished from widespread acceptability; we can be our own economic and social agents with the help of the little pills they’d rather not let us see.

پارلیمنٹ ہاؤس اسلام آباد میں سینیٹ کے قائمہ کمیٹی برائے خارجہ اور دفاع کا مشترکہ اجلاس ہوا جس میں ملک کو درپیش خارجی چیلنجز، بلوچستان میں ڈرون حملے اور دیگر امور پر غور کیا گیا۔ اجلاس کے دوران دفاعی حکام نے کمیٹی ارکان کو بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے امریکا سے ایف سولہ طیاروں کی خریداری کے معاہدے کے متعلق بتایا کہ کانگریس کا کہنا ہے کہ ٹیکس گزاروں کا پیسہ خرچ کرنے کی اجازت نہیں دے سکتے، امریکا میں یہ صدارتی انتخابات کا وقت ہے اور اس وقت پینٹاگان اور وائٹ ہاؤس کانگریس کے سامنے بات نہیں کرنا چاہتے۔
اجلاس کے دوران سیکریٹری دفاع لیفٹیننٹ جنرل ریٹائرڈ عالم خٹک نے کمیٹی کو بتایا کہ امریکا سے ایف سولہ طیاروں کی ڈیل کا باب بندہو چکا ہے، امریکا کاکہناتھا کہ پاکستان ادائیگی نیشنل فنڈسے کرے ،ہمارا موقف تھا کہ پاکستان صرف 39.2فیصد کل رقم سے اداکرے گا، اب پاکستان اردنی ایف سولہ طیارے خریدے گا، اردن سے طیارے بھی امریکہ کی مرضی سے ہی ملیں گے اور امریکا نے بھی اس پر رضامندی ظاہر کی ہے، روس اور پاکستان کے درمیان دفاعی معاہدہ موجود ہے جس کے تحت فیفتھ جنریشن کے طیارے روس سے خریدنے پر غور کررہے ہیں، اس کے علاوہ طیاروں کی خریداری کے حوالے سے فرانس سے بھی بات کرچکے ہیں۔
سیکریٹری خارجہ اعزاز چوہدری نے کمیٹی کو بتایا کہ پاک امریکا تعلقات میں نشیب و فراز پاکستانی عوام اور قیادت کے لیے نئی بات نہیں، پاک امریکا کشیدگی کی کئی وجوہات ہیں جن میں امریکا کا بھارت کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر پسند کرنا، پاک چین آگے بڑھتی دوستی اور سی پیک منصوبہ شامل ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ کچھ معاملات پر ہم امریکا کے ساتھ ہرگز تعاون نہیں کرسکتے جن میں ہماری خودمختاری اور سالمیت شامل ہے۔
سیکریٹری خارجہ نے مزید کہا کہ ہم نے رچرڈ اولسن کی سربراہی میں ملنے والے امریکی وفد سے کھل کربات کی ہے، امریکیوں کا کہنا ہے کہ ملا منصور امریکی افواج کے لئے خطرہ تھا، امریکیوں کا یہ بھی ماننا ہے کہ وہ بات چیت سے انکاری تھا، ہم نے وفد سے کہا کہ ملااختر منصور اگر مذاکرات حق میں نہیں تھا تو وہ انکاری بھی نہیں تھا ، ملا اختر منصور کی ہلاکت سے امن عمل کو دھچکہ لگا ہے، ہم نے امریکا سے کہا ہے کہ بتایا جائے امن عمل بات چیت سے بڑھانا ہے یا جنگ سے، امریکا نے ڈرون حملہ کرنے میں جلد بازی کی، اس نے جہاں 16 سال جنگ کو دیے وہیں 6 ماہ افغان امن عمل کو بھی دیتا۔ امریکی وفد نے اتفاق کیا کہ امن کے لئے مذاکرات ہی حل ہے۔
اعزاز چوہدری نے مزید کہا کہ پاکستان افغانستان میں امن چاہتاہے کیونکہ یہ خطے میں امن کے لئے ضروری ہے، یہ تاثر درست نہیں کہ ملا اختر منصور کی ہلاکت پر پاکستان تاخیر سے جاگا ہے، گزشتہ برس جولائی میں امن مزاکرات کو سبوتاژ کرنے کے لیے خبر پھیلائی گئی کہ ملا عمر کراچی میں انتقال کرگئے ہیں حالانکہ ملاعمر کبھی بھی کراچی نہیں آئے، وہ زابل میں رہے اور وہیں سپرد خاک کئے گئے ہیں۔م یڈیا میں خبریں ہیں کہ ایران داعش کے خلاف طالبان سے اتحاد کررہاہے، ہماری ایران سے بات ہوئی ہے کہ ملااخترمنصور ایران میں کیا کررہا تھا، اب ایرانی حکام اپنے ملک میں اس معاملے کی تحقیقات کریں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ انگوراڈا چیک پوسٹ افغانستان کے حوالے نہیں کی جارہی ، پاکستان نے افغانستان کی حدود میں صرف تحفہ کے طور پر دروازہ تعمیر کیا گیا۔ وزیر اعظم نے افغان حکومت کے سخت بیانات کا جواب دینے سے روک رکھا ہے لیکن امریکا سے کہا گیا ہے کہ افغانستان کو ایسے بیانات دینے سے روکاجائے۔
سکریٹری خارجہ نے بتایا کہ ہم نے امریکا سے خاص طور پر بھارت کے حوالے سے پالیسیوں پر بات کی ہے اور امریکا کو بتادیا ہے کہ اس کی پالیسیاں خطے کے لئے عدم استحکام پیدا کرسکتی ہیں ، ہم نے ہر ایک کو آگاہ کردیا ہے کہ پاکستان اپنا میزائل پروگرام کسی صورت بند نہیں کرے گا، نیوکلیئر سپلائر گروپ پر بھی ہم نے خاموش سفارت کاری کی ہے۔ ہم نے امریکا سمیت دیگر ممالک کو بتادیاہے کہ سی پیک کسی ملک کے لئے خطرہ نہیں ہے، گوادر اور چاہ بہار کے درمیان کوئی اسٹرٹیجک نسبت نہیں، گوادر بندرگاہ کا پہلا فائدہ افغان صوبہ قندھار کو ہوگا۔
